Widow's Sons
Run to the Shriner's Hospital June 3rd, 2005
On June 3, 2005 The Widow's Sons left the
Al Menah Shriners Temple with 100 Shriner Bears
headed for the
Shriners Hospital in Lexington, KY. There were 7 Widow’s Sons on
motorcycles in the procession, and our Illustrious Potentate David Smith
and Nobles Wes Frye & Kris Fisher drove the van and escort vehicle.
Needless to say the trip was a great success, even if it did “rain on the
parade” most of the way up. The hospital personnel welcomed us with
open arms and even gave us a tour of the facility. Most of the
Widow's Sons are also Nobles of the Mystic Shrine.
